Our Story...
A Clean Plate Local and Organic Grocery is located in Menahga, Minnesota one block east of highway 71 next to the post office.
Wayne and Julie opened A Clean Plate in 2012. Wayne, who was working at a conventional grocery store at the time, saw an opportunity for a new store that focused on healthy food choices.

Starting A Clean Plate
We source local produce when it is in season, as well as milk, butter, eggs, meat, maple syrup and honey! We believe in supporting regenerative, grass-fed, free range, organic, and sustainable agriculture.
In 2018 we joined INFRA (Independent Natural Food Retailers Association) a network of independent stores that work together. Based in Minnesota this wonderful group helps us compete with larger stores with competitive pricing, great sales, and the newest product lines!
